AWF Championship Match:
TNT defeated JT Robinson
Notes:
- Show was sold out 2 days in advance. Countless fans were turned away at the door. Show energy was high throughout with great crowd participation during the entire card.
- TNT opened the show informing fans he was the new AWF Champion and that he is going to take down The Platinum Players one by one. The Players entered and Future Shock stated that he would be taking the AWF Title with a little help from his friends.
- Zander Bothory’s bite victim from Blacktown 6 Jan, transformed into his minion Xavier Blood and managed Bathory to victory over Bluey Bonza in the opening bout when Xavier distracted the referee allowing Bathory to spray blood in Bonza’s eyes and follow up with the crucifix neckbreaker for the win.
- Mr Wolf returned to AWF action and claimed to be Australia’s next top male model. He was pinned by Scotty Club in an exciting four way.
- Il Cognito continued his undefeated streak pinning Jammin’ Jimmy Daniels.
- Mark Hilton returned to form defeating Jay Law.
- Platinum Players tandem of Dynamite & Ravenous scored another victory, this time over the in form team of Billy Flyswat & Chris X.
- The Crocmaster (Formerly Nuclear) returned to AWF and was defeated by Powerhouse Theo with his powerbomb. After the bout Theo warned Scotty Club that he would be taking his championship when he gets his hands on him at the next Catholic Club event.
- Lebo Ceda defeated The Captain via sneaky low blow and pin. In Ceda’s first two bouts he was disqualified for using this tactic, and this time he got away with it and scored the pin. Dr Waxhead came to the ring after to explain what had happened to the referee and Ceda fled in record time.
- In the main event, TNT pinned JT Robinson with the Detonator after much interference from Ravenous & Dynamite. After the pinfall the Platinum Players attacked TNT, and Massive Q and Mark Hilton came out and made the save for the fallen TNT. TNT was finally revived, and then thanked Q and Hilton and challenged the Players to a 6 man tag at the next Campbelltown event. The bout was set.
- Next Campbelltown event is 19 May entitled Chaos In Campbelltown and will feature Young Lion’s Championship defence with Scotty Club Vs. Powerhouse Theo, and the 6 Man Tag Team main event of The Platinum Players Vs. TNT, Hilton & Massive Q, plus more bouts to be announced.
- Next AWF Live event is “International Showdown”: Fri 23 March at Cardiff Panthers with the main event of TNT Vs. Steve Corino plus a huge undercard. Book in advance to avoid missing out. Tickets are selling fast.
