Notes :
-
Freakshow opened the event still celebrating Il Cognito’s title victory over TNT from the weekend before, and for downing Powerhouse Theo the previous night. Steve Ravenous interrupted and challenged Cognito to a street fight and said he would be taking the title back for the Platinum Players.
-
TNT was all riled up against Max Comic, and had a fun match, shaking Comic’s hand after the bout. TNT then cheekily tripped Comic in and out of the ring and finally into the entrance set up on the way to the dressing room to the fans amusement.
- JT Robinson continued his winning ways as he won the 3 way bout pinning Bluey Bonza. JT is in line for a title shot upcoming on the heels of his Supa Tournamnet Perth victory.
- Jay Law narrowly escaped loss over Southern Cross’s Scotty Club, with Law using the belt to score victory.
- Detonation Crew overcame The Freakshow in the 6 person bout, when Q inadvertently gave Wonderland the roadkill splash in the corner leading to a Bo spinebuster for the win. TNT & Theo came out after the bout to join Det Crew team members, and TNT announced that because of Loser Leaves stipulation from last weekends Blacktown bout, this was Bombshell Bo’s last contracted appearance for some time. He said Bo would go to Canada & USA to do AWF proud, and when she comes back she will be stronger than ever. TNT & the crowd thanked Bo and wished her well.
- Il Cognito retained the AWF Title in his second defence in a wild bout that started with Cognito attacking Ravenous before the bell, with the two fighting across the stadium. Once action returned to the ring a back and forth battle unraveled, with Ravenous scoring a near fall with a top rope exploder suplex, and Cognito a tope rope sunset flip into a powerbomb. In the end Cognito scored with his springboard legdrop for the win to close out the event.
- A well received event with many happy faces afterwoods. Great crowd interaction and participation throughout the night.
