The Australasian Wrestling Federation (AWF) comes to the Central Coast Youth Club on Saturday 6 December with a huge evening of live pro-wrestling action, featuring Australia’s top professional wrestlers entitled “Year End Extravaganza”.

The event itself will showcase the best AWF has to offer in a variety of special feature bouts, including Tag Team action, Women’s competition, an AWF Rumble and Championship bouts, and will be the last AWF card for the 2008 season.  

The main event for the big “Year End Extravaganza” will pit ringmaster of “The Freakshow” and current Australasian Champion, Il Cognito, against rival Detonation Crew member, and Central Coast hometown boy, Billy Flyswat.
Billy Flyswat has just come off losing the AWF Tag Team Championship which he lost to Il Cognito’s Freakshow stablemates Massive Q & Toxin at the hand of Il Cognito. He is all fired up to revenge his Detonation Crew partner, TNT’s Australasian Title loss from 6 July where Il Cognito captured the Championship. If Flyswat is to come away with the win, he will be the first person to hold all AWF Titles being a former Young Lion’s and Tag Team Champion.
Il Cognito will no doubt be using every dirty clown trick in the book to stop Billy Flyswat coming away with the title in front of his hometown fans.

In addition to the main event, the newly crowned AWA Australian Champion TNT, will battle Platinum Players associate Jay Law.
TNT is renowned as Australia’s top wrestler and is 4 time AWF Australasian Champion who has beaten some of the top wrestlers in the world including WWE stars X-Pac, Raven, Kidman and many others.
Jay Law is a former Young Lion’s Champion, and has improved his skills and strength immensely in 2008, making him a strong chance for victory.
This will no doubt be an intense first time title bout which could go either way.

Other huge bouts on the event will include a 3 way elimanation bout for the AWF Tag Team Titles, Women’s action featuring Alison Wonderland versus Shazza McKenzie, Max Comic against Kid Dynamite and to cap things off a number 1 contenders special rules AWF Rumble.
